Changes

Renamed MCP tools

Oplane MCP tools now spell out threat_model and security_requirement the same way in every tool name. The old names stopped working with this release, so update any place where you wrote them down yourself, such as CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, a CI script, or your assistant’s list of allowed tools. The threatmodel_id parameter is now threat_model_id. If you use the Oplane plugin for Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot CLI, or opencode, update it to the latest version, which calls the new names.

New features

Search and fetch your Oplane data from your assistant

New read tools let your AI assistant find threat models, security requirements, workspaces, and organisations by filters such as severity, status, workspace, or date, and then fetch the full records. Together with the analyze tool, your assistant can answer questions like “Which critical requirements are still open in the payments workspace?” and link you straight to each one in Oplane. See Insights with MCP for what you can ask, and MCP tools for the full list.
